hahahahah - I'm MONICA!

Hubby arrived safely from Barcelona on Monday evening. I applied for half day leave from work so that I could fetch him from KLIA.  But before that, went home to fetch Sarah and Mika so that they can come along. Iman and Jay couldn't make it coz they were in school.

As usual, K will always remember to get some gifts back for the family whenever he goes abroad. But this time, I was totally speechless when he gave me my gift. It was all nicely wrapped up ~

Me : Thank you, what is this?
K : It's a surprise, go ahead, open it!
Me : (after carefully removing the wrapper) - MANDARINA DUCK BAG????????
K : You like it?
Me : Like it? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a pleasant surprise indeed - I've been talking about getting that street soft shoulder bag which is great for casual outings. K remembered and he got me just that - thank you dear...

We had a great Eid celebration, both in Singapore and Jelebu. It was great meeting up with uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. We came back to KL on Saturday evening. Good thing we did that coz I saw over the news on TV that those who came back on Sunday had to face a notorious traffic jam! Anyway, took a bunch of pics during Eid but too lazy to post 'em now, will do that when I feel up to it, k?

Today is my first day at work after the week long Eid holidays....soooo lazy to wake up, wished I was still on leave... We had some guests over for dinner last nite and as  always, mom prepared her speciality - nasi briyani.  So, by the time mom and I finished cleaning up, it was close to midnite. I was so exhausted that I dozed off once my head hit the pillow. Anyway, was still stretching and lying in bed when suddenly it hit me that K is not around and I'm gonna have to drive the kids to school this morning - arrrghhhh! - so, hurried up to wake Iman, Jay and Sarah. Got myself ready and rushed downstairs to prepare breakfast. Good thing Mika was still sound asleep. Kids ready, grab some breakfast and off we go! Phew!

K left for work in Barcelona, Spain on Sunday nite. He will be back next Monday. He called at 4.30 p.m yesterday when he reached the hotel.  Glad that he had arrived safely, alhamdullillah. So, this week will be a hectic one for me coz I'm gonna have to drive the kids to school, to music class and also to Kumon which is normally done by K. But it's okay, I'm not complaining coz I'll manage, insyaAllah.
